Jamaican me crazy! Jamaica is calling my name!
Jamaica once you go, you know! The slogan rings true in my head this morning I am missing Jamaica, and it is Jamaican me crazy mon! Some of my very favorite memories took place on the island. From the soft turquoise shoreline, reggae and dancehall that lasted well into the night lit by flaming Bob Marley Shots at Ricks Cafe and the beautiful spirits of the hospitable locals.
* 1 oz. Creme de Menthe, green
* 1/2 oz. Liqueur, banana
* 1/2 oz. Rum, overproof/151 proof
* 1 oz. Grenadine
The true Bob Marley is grenadine at the bottom, creme de menthe in the middle, and 151 plus creme de bananna. Light it on fire, stick a straw down to the bottom and finish it!
I received a fantastic offer from one of my favorite resort brands Couples Resorts. The resorts offer off property excursions, (catamaran sunset boat ride, duns rivers falls tour, and more) daily two-tank scuba diving is included daily for certified divers, complimentary. This is an all inclusive offer that makes me irie as the chain gives the option to have an action packed holiday or choose more of a laid back option sun bathing on the gentle shoreline. Couples Reosrts has a great promotion going on right now! March 1- 31st treat your love to a Secret Rendezvous at Couples Resorts! Getaways starting at just $350...
I haven't been there in years but I think I am ready to go back.... to Jamaica!

Come Sip a Pink Gin on Pink Gin Beach in Grenada
Come sip a Pink Gin on Pink Gin Beach in Grenada!
One of my favorite beaches in the Caribbean. This beach was named after a popular cocktail. Made in the United Kingdom in the 19th century, a Pink Gin contains gentian and a dash of 'pink'. 'Pink' referring to the Angostura bitters, a dark red extract of gentian and spices. This is typically an English way of drinking and enjoying gin. The Pink Gin cocktail was created by the Royal Navy. They created the drink in order to make Angostura bitters more enjoyable. The Royal Navy used the bitters to treat medical conditions in sailors; furthermore, it was also used to treat seasickness.
However there will be no seasickness in these beautiful calm turquoise waters. This stretch of sand is located on the southwestern coast of Grenada. Pink Gin Beach is close to L' Anse aux Epines , so you can tour the town after your visit to the beach.

This beach is great for snorkeling so bring your snorkel, masks, and fins as the waves are non existent. Pink Gin a real good place to snorkel. Especially out around that rock cropping. On the other side you’ll see a great variety of marine life, and the visibility is around 100 feet.
My favorite resort on the beach being La Source!
On the secluded white sands of Pink Gin Beach, LaSource is backdropped by tropical gardens and surrounded by the crystal clear Caribbean waters on three sides. With an emphasis on harmony between mind and body, the Oasis Spa offers a choice of complimentary spa treatments each day, whilst four restaurants serve health focused cuisine without compromising on the fine dining experience. Retaining a sense of colonial tradition, guest rooms have an antique feel combined with elegance and luxury, each one has a private terrace or balcony from which to enjoy the idyllic setting. - EIR
There are some fantastic deals going on right now such as a $500 air credit when staying 7 nights and a $50 resort credit. To take advantage of these offers or plan your trip to Grenada contact me for your personalized quote
